INTERNAL

AUTHORITY

Harness the power to create a life you love — and a world you believe in.

☾✺You were never meant to fit in to the world. You were meant to create it. ☾✺

If your body has been telling you — “this doesn’t work for me” when you look at the systems you were handed — beliefs, pathways, expectations, roles, culture.

If it has felt like you are constantly trying to fix yourself to fit in and function, this space is for you. If you have been stuck in the systems and ways of the world that you were born into and it hasn’t been working, it’s because you are meant to create something new.

You know that you do not fit into the systems you were born into and are ready to create your own.

In INTERNAL AUTHORITY

We cultivate our capacity to create new realities we love and believe in — through the pathway of our bodies.

LEADERSHIP

In many ways this is a leadership training program, not in the common sense of the word, but leadership in the sense that you can guide yourself through pathways you are truly called to walk.

INTUITION

It is built on the understanding that women’s bodies were never going to thrive living in patriarchy, and the knowing that our bodies have innate intelligence that will lead us to what is best for us if we can learn to trust it. So in this sense, this is a process of intuition reclamation.

NATURE CONSCIOUSNESS

For women craving a life that support their rhythms. Internal Authority — is rooted in the consciousness that we are nature and nature has natural rhythms that have been ignored for far too long. This is about returning to a state of harmony with nature in and around us so as to access our inherent co-creative capacity.

INHERENT WORTH

Finally, we are life, and we are here, and we are worthy. This is about returning to the inner knowing that we are inherently worthy. This is a deep deconditioning process to remove the story that says our worth must be sourced externally.

Generally when people hear the word authority they think of some external force that comes to judge, direct, dominate, and control. This is what we have been conditioned to believe is powerful.

But, this is not the only form of power and it is arguably the lesser of the two. Internal authority moves away from trying to control other people, removes the need to convince or seek permission, and puts the power right back where it originates — in your being.

This program is:
a yearlong pathway of power reclamation through the tapestry of your body.

I use the word tapestry because your body (and thus your entire lived experience) has been made up of deeply interwoven experiences, beliefs, emotions, thoughts and lifetimes that have come together to make you who you currently are.

I say currently because we are always changing, and we have the capacity to lead this change.

FROM FIXING TO FREEING // CHAOS TO CREATION

So as opposed to being focused on fixing yourself, this program paves the way for you to free yourself, through a deep understanding of the ways in which the world creates you, and how you also have the capacity to create yourself (your life and the world) — this is innate, built in wisdom that has been silence, shut down, shunned, and stored away to survive.

HOW WE DO THIS?

Survival — We begin at the roots, tending to the system that has managed to keep us alive. We explore the history of our survival responses and understand its mechanisms. We bring value and validation to this part of ourselves that is often demonized or made into a problem to be suppressed or numb. Not here, we recognize the ancient intelligence of our survival system and turn towards it for its wisdom and stories. This roots us back into our humanity — into our lineages — into our primal truths of sensation and the places in which it was not safe to feel.

Patterns — We bring curiosity to the patterns we so often identify as personal flaws and instead observe them through a lens of compassion and maturity. Codependency, people-pleasing, perfectionism, anxiety, scattered focus, insecurity, self-judgement, masking, hypervigilance etc. — all of these patterns serve a purpose and are a way that we are trying to get a need met.

Safety — This is about moving from an external orientation of seeking safety “from” the world, to sourcing safety from within ourselves while being “in” the world. We do this by meeting our needs with devotion. This shifts how we relate to every part of our existence, it moves us from constantly being on guard to being able to rest in the knowing that we are able to perceive actual threat and that we are capable of protecting ourselves should the need arrive. We no longer need to live in chronic hypervigilance.

Energy — All creative processes need energy, including harnessing your ability to materialize a life that you actually love and believe in. When we are in chronic survival mode, most of our energy is used to be on constant alert — tensing, bracing, scanning, worrying, thinking, controlling. There is no rest or space. Energy returns when we learn to manage our systems and clear out past energy blocks or survival patterns in our nervous system. Our perception of possibility amplifies, our ability to relate with the world deepens, and this combination allows us to access new ways to create something that previously felt impossible.

Liberation — In this case it’s the knowing that you actually have infinite options/possibilities available to you. The knowing that you are not stuck. The recognition that you have the keys to the cage and can move out of it at any time. It is the reconnection to and with our inherent power, one that we were taught to disconnect from over centuries.

Creation — The ability to take the raw materials of your life and turn them into something you love and care about.

AN ENTIRE YEAR

All of this happens at the level of the nervous system.

Are ready to heal from the conditioning that has kept them small, depleted, or disconnected from their true rhythm.

Want to reclaim the self-trust, boundaries, and energy they need to lead themselves in life.

Know the mainstream way of living isn’t working — and are committed to creating something different.

Desire a sanctuary where they can integrate this work through steady practice, body-based healing, and the power of a conscious co-creation circle.

THE ARCHETYPES

The highly sensitive woman + The woman who chooses to create a life that supports her flourishing

  • Tending to yourself with the utmost care is your purpose.

  • Intentionally creates a life from the wisdom of her body.

Sovereignty

Why this works.

Roots

Rhythm

Ritual

Mapping the way.

The exact pathway and process we will cover in our time together.

PHASE 1: AWARENESS

How Paradigm is Created.

Awaken to Your Conditioning — Reclaim Your Energy

  • How our reality is created — and how it continues to play itself out until we choose to create something new.

  • Understanding the root of patterns — codependency, self-abandonment, people-pleasing, insecurity, and how they stem from a lack of safety, not a personal flaw.

  • Exploring the unique gift of being highly sensitive and what it means for your needs & self-leadership. This is a deep phase of validating your needs and desires for yourself and understanding where they stem from.

PHASE 2: TENDING

Meet Your Needs – The Orchid

Tend To Your Vessel

  • Buiding routines that actually honour your needs and desires — based on your unique blueprint and soul.

  • Healing from the narrative that taught you that your worth was conditional and based on your output. Rooting your inherent worth back into your body — so that you actually feel it and live from this knowing.

  • Prioritizing rest and regeneration, boundaries that support your energy and thriving.

  • Mapping the outline of your authentic self by meeting your needs, cultivating safety and experiencing what it takes to truly thrive as your unique self.

I set boundaries rooted in the question: Does this support the health and wellbeing of my body? That clarity made it easier to make decisions and resist external pressure.
Arbitrary vs. naturally emanating from presence = a river, to cross requires relationship.

What are you consuming? Where are you placing your energy?

  • Getting clear on what you want to choose to focus on, clearing out what pulls at your attention without your consent, tuning in to what matters to you. Noticing how your “time” or your presence is focused.

PHASE 3: INTEGRATION

Build the Data Bank — Accessing Possibility

Let Your Body Experience the Truth of What’s Possible

  • Safety + Desire become integrated as new baseline state. Anchoring your felt “yes” in your body and allowing yourself to move your life in this direction.

  • Developping the capacity to trust the subtle nudges of your intuition over signals of survival, to hold both while allowing yourself to move in the direction of your soul. Trusting the subtle signals of your body over the noise of the outside world.

    (open spleen gate teaching)

  • Giving yourself new experiences of safety & belonging allows you to shift your beliefs about yourself and your relationship with the world within and around you. New possibilities emerge. You are able to see yourself through a different lens (paradigm shift), one of authority over your own life.

PHASE 4: CREATION

Follow Your Desires / She Who Creates Herself

Let Desire Lead — Live in Alignment with Your Internal Authority

What’s Included

  • An entire year that intentionally blends the delivery of essential information with the pace and structure that allows for profound integration. All while being held in a co-created circle of women devoted to creating lives that truly honour the rhythms of their bodies and the desires of their souls.

  • Every week we will gather for between 1-1.5 hours per week to learn, explore & practice. The duration of each call will depend on the nature of the content each week and the schedule is flexible to avoid any pressure or rush — the opposite of what we are co-creating here.

  • You will receive a library of somatic practices to support the healing of your nervous system while expanding your capacity to access a felt sense of safety, ease, and possibility.

  • This program is intentionally screen-light and connection-focused.
There’s no group chat, forum, or extra platform—just our weekly calls. This keeps the pace slow, the space clear, and the focus on your own inner process, without overwhelm.

  • One at the beginning of our time together to map your pathway. The other halfway through in order to check in and tend to your vision.

  • The opportunity to experience healing and transformation in the shared energy of a group of women who are on the same path — committed to true care, connection and authenticity.

  • This is an annual experience. The price you pay for the first year will remain the same for you for future rounds.

SISTERHOOD

The conscious gathering of women to co-create healing, connection and creation is one of the most powerful things on the planet — and it is the place from which this entire experience is created.

Medicina de la voz — sharing your voice, your story, yourself with others is a deep initiation into your power and worth — being witnessed.

Let your intuition lead.

Internal Authority is a transformational process — a yearlong space to reclaim your power through your body, restore your energy, and trust your intuition as the compass for your life.

It’s for women who are done fitting into boxes, following unsustainable rhythms, or abandoning parts of themselves to survive. This is where you create a life in which every part of you matters, and where thriving is no longer optional — it’s your birthright.

MEET THE ARTIST

Hi, I’m Islay — the visionary of Woven Wild and the creator of Internal Authority.

I’m also a highly sensitive extrovert, a combination that has taken me years to understand how to manage. Overstimulation & overwhelm on one hand and a deep desire to share my voice on the other. I moved through the systems I was told would make me successful and give me a good life — higher education, high achiever, commited to “becoming someone” — but I just became miserable. Things just weren’t working for me no matter how hard I tried.

Eventually I learned that I was highly sensitive, that a woman’s body doesn’t thrive in cultures shaped by patriarchy, and that when trauma is not healed it gets passed down — until someone closes the cycle — and if those patterns aren’t cleared out, they run your life.

This was the task I set out to complete for myself — heal my nervous system, claim my agency to live a life that genuinely honoured my body’s rhythms, and end cycles of trauma that have kept women small, silent and half-alive.

This involved a complete restructuring of my life, and I struggled for years trying to figure it out. Now that I have, I support other highly sensitive women in creating lives they actually thrive in.

Creativity is an inherent part of my work as a guide because we are all creating our reality, whether conscious or not. Through my work I support women in understanding how they were shaped by the contexts they were born into and how to go about untangling the threads of these patterns in order to be able to create something new of their choosing.

I got to a point where I realized I had too many needs and desires that did not fit into any system that was currently available to me and that from there I had only one other option — to create a new one. Internal Authority is the result of my devotion to figuring out how to do that.

I’ve spent the past six years studying trauma-informed yoga, reproductive health, cyclical living, clinical somatic education, and the science of embodiment and transformation. My approach blends ancestral and intergenerational trauma work, nervous system healing, and living in alignment with natural rhythms and cycles. It’s a yogic path of self-actualization, designed specifically for highly sensitive women reclaiming their power and potential.

The life I live is a reflection of this work: a deeply nourishing partnership, a home in Mexico City that inspires creativity, and a rhythm of life that allows me to flow, create, and sustain myself fully. I’ve shared my work at SoulWork Live, speaking on healing codependency and sensitivity, and I’ll be returning in 2026 with a focus on Wisdom Traditions — bridging my years of living seasonally, moving between cultures, and cultivating conscious community.

Through Internal Authority, I now guide women to reclaim their energy, trust their intuition, and step into lives where thriving is not optional — it’s their birthright.

WHY I CREATED THIS PROGRAM

In its essence, this is a collective trauma healing experience aimed at supporting the liberation of women.

Abusive relationships

My own life curriculum led brush up against many situations that could have been life-threatening, and had I been connected to my body and known my worth, I may not have chosen those experiences.

Burnout

I went from being a radiant little girl — confident, outspoken and loud, a leader who knew who she was and was certain she could make it happen. By 23 years old that spark had almost died out. It took me years to recover myself.

High Sensitivity + Trauma + Neurodivergence

I did not know how to take care of myself, the world overstimulated me, most people didn’t get it, I felt like I was losing my mind.

Authentic Self

When I realized I had been performing because I had not been raised in a culture that cultivates — instead it shapes us to try to fit into a mould created by systems of exploitation and domination completely disconnected from the earth — a burning calling kept telling me “go figure out who you really are under all this shit”. Turns out it wasn’t a matter of searching, it was about connecting.

Under the masks, under the conditioned limitations and expectations — lives our authentic self. And I want more women to experience the power of being able to say “I know what I need, I know what I want, and I know that I am worthy of an amazing life” .

ACKNOWLEDGING MY TEACHERS & GUIDES

And the priviledge that has led me to their teachings.

I am honoured to be a carryier of the Akhanda Shakti lineage via my teacher Adi Shakti, founder of SoulWork, with whom I have since become a co-facilitator. Thank you for passing me the mic, for your devotion to the empowerment of women and for the constant reminder to trust myself and go for it.

To Mallorie Buoy, creator of Homebody Healing, your guidance in my life has been unbelieveable liberating — for my mind, body and heart. Thank you for cultivating a space where education + creation + radical social justice could co-exist.

Gracias con el alma, to both warawara Neila Marquina and Samahia (Mujer Medicina De La Tierra), whose devotion to sharing the profound teachings of Amawtismo Tiwanakota, a cosmovision originating in Bolivia and the Andes, inspired and guided my conscious reconnection to mother earth, to my cycle, and to our relationship to all of life.

My heart will forever be grateful for Dr. Deborah Woodman for reflecting back to me when I couldn’t handle superficial explanations about the ways of the world — “it’s because you are an anthropologist”. This reminder has stayed in my heart as I pursued the untangling of the threads of existence.

To my sister, Lillian, your presence has always opened my heart when I wanted to shut down. Thank you for your love. You are sacred.

To my mother, Francine — for this life, for everything you have gifted me, and for never telling me to be quiet.

To my grandma Faye, who has become one of my best friends in this lifetime, thank you for always being there to listen.

And finally, to all of the women who came before me, thank you for your bravery.
